Moonlight by: Asuka Soryu
Have you ever noticed at night That no matter which direction you are walking You can always see the moon? You can walk as fast as you want Or even run It's always within sight. Just like your pain You can run You can hide But you can't escape it Because it's always there, watching you. Just as the moon is there, over your head. Even during the day, when the sun shines. You just can't see the moon. It's as if the moon represents the pain we all feel Deep inside our lonely hearts The horrible aching it brings Is just like the shimmering glow emitting from the moon Now, imagine your pain As the moon itself. Will you ever look at the moon the same way again? Do you still think it's beautiful? I do. Your pain It hurts. But it also heals. Think of your pain as a white ball of healing light. Otherwise known as the moon Over time, you start to pay more attention to it You learn from it. If something has hurt you You don't bring it back, do you? No, of course not. That would be silly. So, you don't repeat your mistakes. And that, in my eyes Is why I gaze at the moon at night To remind myself That it's all worth it.
