Besaid is my home. It's where I grew up, even though I was born in Bevelle. A lady inside the temple says that my father, Lord Braska, would be proud. I wonder if that would be true? Would he be proud that I defeated Sin with the help of my friends? Would he be disappointed that the new Calm no longer needs summoners? Would he be angry that I gave up being High Summoner to become a sphere hunter? Just to look for Tidus?

Lulu and Wakka are still my friends. They were my guardians during the pilgrimage too. Now, 2 years after, she's had a child, a boy named Vidina. He's really cute. Wakka says that Vidina looks nothing like him, but that's not true. Lulu's doing as well as ever. She enjoys taking care of Vidina.

Wakka skipped the Blitzball tournament last season, so he's training extra hard this season. The Aurochs are members of the Youth League, but ever since we defeated Vegnagun, both the Youth League and New Yevon have disbanded. Only the Machine Faction stays together, still building Machines and Machina for tomorrow's generation.

Sometimes I walk along the beach and think of all that's happened. It's amazing, over the course of 2 years, what can happen. Those are the times I think of Tidus. The Aeons brought him back to life as thanks for saving the world a second time. At first, everything was good. He and I were like we used to be. But sometimes being in a relationship brings out the bad in people. We started fighting a lot, and eventually, we just broke up. He missed the old Zanarkand, so with Shinra's help, we found a way to send him back. I hope he's doing well.

All of Besaid is the same as ever. Everything's been better since Beclem went back to Mushroom Rock Road. I can't believe he thought summoners were useless!! The jerk!! But he did help us out, so I'm not too angry at him.

Remember the cave that Chappu used to play in? The one that we found the White Mage dressphere in? Wakka's taken the ciphers off of the door. Now anyone can get in, although with a warning to take caution, since there are still fiends in there. The Aeons are dormant now, and the temples are peaceful. Everyone's working together now. I wonder, was this the real Calm? The Calm of Spira?
