My half sister, Barbara, came down with her family. She's older than me by many a year, and her father is different from mine, bu we have some many things in common you wouldn't believe.

Since today was Mother's Day, she came to surprise our mom with a few gifts here and there. She even took (mom and I) out flower shopping (for mom's holiday and my graduation gift; we got to take Barb's brand spanking new cherry red PT Cruiser out for the spin!). I'm usually the one who tends the plants, outside or inside the home. Dad will want the yard spruced up, buy some flowers, hand them to me point out where he wants them. The rest, well, is plant history.

I don't see Barb often. I wish she lived closer near by. But, then again, if she lived closer and I could see her every day, would I get tired easily? Would I not hold dear and cherish each visit, like I do now? Yeah. Sorta obvious, eh?

Let's hope I can sleep tonight. Last night I went to bed depressed, and I was graced with only two hours of sleep. Two hours! I mean, what is going on with me? I can't sleep these nights, I become depressed easily... Maybe it's just some "senior" thing. I can't face the fact High school is going to end. Then again, I'm getting pretty disgusted with the world. Maybe I'm just in some sort of funk. Hopefully is blows over.

P.S: Friday was the last day for a classmate of mine in Intro to Media (Journalism). Really nice, funny guy named Lukas. He goes back to New Zealand. Hope he gets back safe.
