Aiko's head stung like hell. A big bump and a sore throb of pain were now on the back of his skull and his memories were pretty foggy. The only thing clear was his current name, Aiko. He thought it sounded a tad girlish but it was the name he knew he was called. At least that’s what he told himself. After awaking in a playground with rain and the only thought in your head is "Aiko" He thought it was probable he was such. More thoughts troubled him but all that produced was a much bigger pulse of pain in his head so he kept his mind cleared and walked forward. He was at some town or another and from the looks it was big. Dirty but big. The roads were unpaved and it was a simply dirt trailing around various buildings of marble, stone, and mortar. He could see in the distance a large tower which he thought belonged to some castle or another. Thought! His head throbbed and his hand tightened around the hilt of the katana as he winced in pain. The Katana, he found it next to him when he awoke and it being the only thing near him he claimed it as his own as well as the name "Aiko". He had no real clue on how to fight with the sword (or without it for that matter) but it felt like it belonged in his grasp. Aiko realized the people then... or lack thereof. No one was out walking around. From the looks of the misty twilight and the receding sun, He calculated it to be around six o' clock (The calculations bringing another slight wince of pain). Shouldn’t people be out or were they all, at the exact same time, preparing food for others? He had no clue and dreaded trying to even think about it. He took a route which led him toward the tower with dust rising up around him. It wasn’t close by as he thought it was but it was actually quite a distance. It was a big town. As he walked the sun shied away from him more and the darkness began to take over. Some small light fixtures came to life and gave spot like beams of light for people to see their steps… but no one was visible. But then, someone was visible. Aiko could only see the persons face from the darkness and he became aware of the scowl as well as the black uniform he was wearing. The man walked directly to him, Seeming to have a yearning to discuss a matter or another with Aiko but Aiko only looked away and walked a little faster. He didn’t know why but the man gave him a bad feeling and his foggy memories said his feelings were a sure thing. The man stopped where Aiko would be and started to trail behind at a lazy but quick pace. The man caught up to Aiko and placed his hand on Aiko’s shoulder, turning him, gently but with to tight a grip. The uniformed man looked Aiko up and down before smirking. He removed his hand from Aiko's shoulder. The man was underneath the light and Aiko was in the gloom giving the man's appearance an unfriendly look. "So boy, what are ya' doin' at this time of night eh'?" He had a slight accent but he had stressed the word "boy" and given off an Air of authority. With Aiko's silence the man spoke again "Yer' all cut n' bruised," He sighed as if those words took to much energy, "You been fightin' boy?" Again with the "Boy" Along with his name Aiko could also see and feel his was definitely not a "Boy" though his actual age eluded him. This time Aiko shook his head. "No? There where did all dem' cuts come from?" Aiko only shrugged and the man grew a bit annoyed "Speak up and tell me what yer up to!" Aiko was about to reply but he saw two other black uniformed men come from the shadows into the spotlight. They each held a staff of some sort and looked as if hitting Aiko was something they wouldn’t mind doing. The original man had also pulled out a staff and held it with on hand the long end lying on his shoulder. "If yer' not gonna talk then I'm gonna' be taking you inta' custody." The man put a hand on Aiko's shoulder but this time Aiko shrugged it off forcefully. "You resistin' boy? I'll teach ya" The man raised his staff and Aiko started to dream.
