I went to see my half-brother today. I went over in the morning and spent a good three hours or so over there. Today was so pleasant! I really enjoyed visitng. He mentioned about college. Yeah, I'm going. Thing is, it might take a bit. I'm wanting to get into art (the messy kind, meaning ceramics, or enameling). That, or major in English and stuff like that.

Looking towards CTC, Ohio Univ., DAAP... Got any suggestions?

That was this morning. Evening was different.

Alright. Dad's going trucking, right? Thing is, he's been trying to get everything done and squared away before he has to take off. This means he's been flying around the house, working in a strange fervor to finish every small detail- from nailing up new boards under the windows to clearing out the back yard of brambles and branches. He's preparing everything for us to take over when he leaves.

I know, at first (when he learned of this trucking job) he believed he'd be home every night. Now he realizes the truth. Sad, depressing, but I know it's something his heart is crying out to do. More money, and more freedom. I think- no, I know- he needs this.

Tonight he went out cellphone shopping for him. You see, he'll need one when he hits the road. Thing is, he got a sweet little deal from Verizon. He has one he pays for, and mom and I acquired free ones. Freakin' sweet, man! I have my first true cellphone. I mean, I have this one. It's small, hard to handle, and runs on cards (which the minutes get taken away without me KNOWING). So, now I have this silver little beauty that I have to read a manual on.

Takes pictures, video, has speaker phone and voice mail. Yeah. Now, if only I can find a Final Fantasy victory ring tone. No, better yet, a Codec noise. (BRING BRING! I wonder if it's Solid Snake?)
