It was the book I was reading. I started it 4 days ago. It's about Darren Shan, he's a kid, gets turned into a half vampire then want to kill the person who guides him to being a vampire.... but he doesn't.
He hates his master, so they both go to this freak show, called Cirque Du Freak. For people with mutanty and powers and like circus-ie stuff.
So then his friend there is Evra Von, just plain Von. Then they both meet Sam, he's a smart younger kid that likes onion pickles. Sam takes them a long to this abandoned railroad track, with empty stuff. Then they meet a dude that says 'man' alot that cares too much about nature, part of NOP.
Sam wants to be part of the Cirque, so he tries his best.
The nature guy is concerned how they treat the wolf-man and what they feed him. He thinks they are treating him wrong, in cage. So during one performance of the Cirque Du Freak, he tries to free the wolf man, but the wolf man bites him and he, you know, runs away. Then Sam was there then the wolf-man goes after sam. Darren goes after both of them (Evra wasn't there, his snake was sick).
The wolf-man eats Sam, crying and then Darren's master comes and tells him to drink Sam's blood, but Darren doesn't want to. But then he remembers the story that his master told him, that when vampires drink someone's blood when they're die-ing, they take part of the die-ing persons spirit(memories) with them. So Darren drinks Sam's blood and then the circus moved to a new town, so the police won't find out what they did(kill animals, sorta kill Sam).... THE END... mostly the end, I haven't read book 3. xp
