Alright. A pet peeve of mine, for the longest time, is that I could not acquire a pay check job. I've been applying for places- only god knows how many- and no one has even looked at my application or asked for an interview. Not one. And to top it all off, I began this search, in fervor for a working experience, last year. At the beginning of the school year, of all things!

Finally, though, my prayers were answered. I go to this store often, and had put in my application are a great time. I kept checking in on them whenever I shopped there. Example was yesterday. I went with my mom and we picked up a few items. I went to the manager and checked on the progress. She told me they had mine out and were deciding on just giving the employees more hours over hiring someone. I applauded her for the action (which is indeed a smart thing to do since I knew the employees and they are hard working and enjoyable to be around!). She gave me an odd sort of smile.

An hour after getting home (or, less than an hour. It seemed too soon!), my phone rang and caller ID told me it was the store.

Lo and behold, the angels parted the heavens and a beautiful shimmering shaft of sunlight gave the world a hazy hue of happiness!

Well, not really, but you get the idea. In all story short, that call yesterday was from the manager. She asked if I was up to an interview today, on the spot, at 11:30.

Of course! I prepared all night and went to bed nervous. Chrons reared it's ugly, loathsome head and I got sick during the night and only managed to acquire three hours of sleep. Despite this pit against me, I had the interview with the manager.

We laughed and joked, and had a relaxing interview. And, I got the job! Folks, I'm telling you! All day I've been on cloud nine, and I'm refusing to get down!

I got home, celebrated for thirty minutes... then passed out for a good three hours and a half. I slept like the dead.

On another side note, I've been watching Anime galore. Finishing up the series Death Note, and planning to watch a movie my friend Anna let me borrow called Vampire Hunter D. Hoping to get that done tomorrow.

Oh, and I've got one episode left on Makai Senki Disgaea. I'm hesitant to watch the final one since I have a chapter left to go on the actual video game (and I promised to finish that before the Anime, ergo no major spoilers). And, I know the endings are different compared to each other. Still...
