Don't let his innocent angel face fool you. Like Riku *our poster child of problems*, Daisuke has a problem with other men living inside him. Most parents leave their children collectable vases, and other rare artifacts. Not the Niwa family! You get a 'Dark' spirit that takes over your body whenever you think dirty thoughts! I feel sorry for him when he gets married. And his wife.
Since we mentioned wives, let's move onto Daisuke's love life. You ever seen those doublemint commercials? Well Daisuke believes fully that two twins are better than one. And heck, if the girls don't work out, he's been stringing along a boy as well.
Anyways, Daisuke in the beginning is in love with Risa, who's in love with Dark, who's in love with Riku, who's in love with Daisuke! Wow, talk about a love....er...square. Then there's also a doll that comes to life that falls in love with him, after trying to kill him, and a painter's spirit that drags him into the spirit world...Daisuke sure doesn't need a profile on eharmony! (I can picture his application: Wanted, one sweet girl *or two twins* that can understand the fact I have to leave home to steal relics on a daily basis. Hopefully good with company, as there is a man that I cannot get rid of living inside of me. Apt to come out at random. Stange men like to follow me home, and I have an adorable bunny/? pet that likes strawberries. Will try any cooking!!!!!) We already know what Daisuke's child is going to be like...Daitchi didn't inherit Daisuke's sweet temperment. Instead, the brat refused to give his own father an item that could very well have prevented his own birth! (I don't remember what that item was....I was too busy not paying attention.)
The strange man that follows Daisuke home is Satoshi Hiwatari, his sworn enemy *and like Kamui, a possible love interest* Satoshi is a detective who's sole mission in life to catch Dark. He plans to seal Dark, and his other half, Krad (Dark spelled backwards for anyone who didn't notice), and what he plans to do with Daisuke when he's done that, well I'm sure you can find a fanfiction about. The climatic ending to this much-loved series is Daisuke ends up with Riku, Dark and Krad get sealed, and Satoshi gives Risa the 'hey baby' look. Yup, that's it! And that's also it for this journal!
