Mowing the yard is not that hard when you have a riding mower, but I hate it when I get dust, dirt, and whatever else I mow over up in my nose. That's the only bad thing besides the heat of Summertime in Florida. I would kill for it to be Fall right now. I've yet to learn how to use the weed-eater. That's my older sister's chore. I am going to need a shower really bad when I am done mowing. You see, I live on 2.5 to 3 acres of land so mowing takes up most of the day. I have to mow the front yard, and the third of the backyard that I have left to do. I came inside because the heat is wicked. And because my dad grilled some stake, but I'm to itred to want any stake, so I atre some cereal sticks. I don't think that I spelled cereal right. Oh, well. I cannot always spell correctly, even when I want to. Back to the yard work. When I lived up in Pace, which is close to Pensacola, I lived on 5 acres of land. I was five years old then and my mother was left to do that yard work because my father had to work every day, well, besides Sunday. It took Momma eight solid hours to mow the front and back yard. Not only did she have to do that, but she also had to look after me, my older sisters, my younger sister, and my little brother at the same time. My oldest sister would go out with her friends to the movies or something while the rest of us had to stay with my mother. She would hook up the mower's trailer and put us in to so that not only could she keep an eye on the rest of us, but she could mow the yard at the same time. Pretty neat, huh? Well, I have to go and get a drink of water before I continue mowing the yard. I'll post something later on today, if I can. Peace. heart ~Chelsea
