The long forgotten lore of my life
When I feel like it I'll update with my thoughts, views, nonsensical ramblings or events. Just another look into my chaotic enough life. I never know what's going to happen.
Connection between canines and higher beings
Tuesday, July 17:

Ok. This isn't a journal entry on my life happenings. What this is is simply the musings I've had on a subject that I've wondered about for a while now. I know it's silly, and might not merit much thought to any passerby reading this rambling sprawl of words. However, it's something that I believe is wholly deserving of attention.

Let's lay the cards out first. I don't have a religion. I believe in certain things, in spirits and spirit guides, elemental sprites of nature and higher beings graced with seraphs and a whole choir of angelic beings. I also have an open mind about aliens and other such paranormal activities. It's hard to place. Maybe it's a bit of my Cherokee coming through that I believe in what I do.

Now that I have my viewpoints pushed aside, I've wondered about something: canines and "god(s)" of any form. Why? Well, the word DOG is GOD spelled backwards.

Need further proof for thine eyes and mind? Alright. How about this one: Wolves and higher powers. Now, what about it, right? Ok, let's look at it from the Japanese viewpoint. Kami is the word for God, and Okami is the word for wolf. Just slap a good ol' 'O' on the 'Kami' and you get 'Okami'.

Golden labs, one of the sweetest versions of our fuzzy best friends are known for their angelic, peaceful nature. It's come to my attention of a little saying involving them. Their fur is a bright golden for sure, but there are white markings often seen behind the shoulder blades, angling at a slat. The saying goes, "That's where the Golden Labs had their wings". This saying was brought up due to the Golden labs endearing nature, and how they're our so called versions of "angels" trapped inside a warm, cuddly earth bound body.

Sometimes, in popular movies, books, manga, anime- any reference to a religious person, no matter what age (usually they're a bit older anyway) comes with the nickname 'Old Dog' or simply 'Dog'. Could this be a coincidence? I'm starting to ponder this. It's just too weird.

Dogs and Wolves are considered loyal, trustworthy, will fight to the end to protect and serve. Wolves are also revered as mystical beings of higher powers in many cultures' eyes. It comes to no surprise when you pit them against the higher beings or "God" figures. Their attributes mirror that of messiah figures and "God" like beings.

So, next time you're yelling at Fido for peeing on the carpet, just stop and think. Are you really screaming at a canine, a mere tamed wolf of olden days or...

Or, are you yelling at a much older, celestial being trapped in a furry, wet nosed body?

heart Peace out, ya'll! heart
