My own personal training has been going well so far (other than the fact that my eyes have been temporarily blinded)...
Funny how it happened.
I was reading through a rather large book of incantations for holy spells, when I found one that was supposed to grant temporary vision of evil (how to detect evil power within your eyesight). I focused my energy, spoke the words, and the next thing I knew, I was flat on the floor, and some blood was running down my face.
After I healed myself, I realized I was blinded, and panicked for about 5 minutes before I realized...
If I closed my eyes, I could see the outlines, the energy vibrations of everything.
I picked up the book and ran my fingers over it, my energy swirling around the letters to tell me what the last sentences on the page were.
"A very risky incantation it is, blinding many who try it. However, there are reports of being blinded incompletely, and those who are, have been granted the power of sensing energy vibrations."
I slapped myself on the head and put the book in the bookshelf.
To be honest, nothing has really changed.
I either wear a blindfold (people mistake me to have stabed out my eyes like Ava), or I just shut my eyes at all times.
It's like seeing life in negative colors. o-o;;
