bio:; mathew was always a quiet child. he was even near silent when he was born, while most infants screamed at the top of their lungs. when he laughed, he laughed softly, when in pain, he whimpered, and when it came to speaking up, he didn't utter a word. he was always speachless.
his father had been a fire fighter. actually one of the many who lost their lives during the rescues of 9/11. the death nearly killed his mother. it's been years since the death, but still the sorrow eats away at her.
he was the youngest of three children. the first born, a boy, named william, had died shortly after birth, his lung failing. he had also been born silent. the second was a girl, and she, named caron, had grown up and was now in college, far away from her family, with littel or no contact what so ever.
when mathew had been born, the lack of noise had scared his mother. to have anotehr child who didn't sream his arrival, she thought surely he would die. it was probally because of his that the mother child relationship was never built. from birth 'till now, mathew and his mother have been strangers.
shortly after his fatehr's death, mathew's mother became beyond depressed. she wouldn't leave her bedroom, she drank, and she cried. it wasn't long either before she began having fits, yelling, and screaming. seh stopped going to work. caron ignored her sick mother, for that was when she was still in high school.
at times mathew's mother would be completely believehe was william, her dead son. by 2004 mathew was completely forgotten, and was now william. he began working for fast food restraunts, and convenience stores. his grade, once straight a's became low b's and c's.
