I can hear the subtle cracking of my mind as I suffer through the rest of the day.

...Ok, that was a bit harsh. Whatever. Point of the matter is my way of life is being unhinged, one crack at a time. My sickness has taken a siesta, but I know it's going to be back. I haven't heard any results of the doctor's tests, so I'm a bit antsy about that.

My family and I are in a frenzy to get the house ready. For who? My sister and her husband. My half sister, really. She's about 40 and I'm 18.

Yeah... do that math on that one. Should scare you a bit. Trust me, it works out. We share the same mom. She's 61, but yeah, it works out. Would I lie to you? Ok, don't answer that.

Anyway, as I get back from my absent minded digression, it's as simple as this. My sister volunteered to house sit. Now, knowing my cunning sister (we think the same way) I knew she was up to something. My intuition proved correct when she called up, wanting a private chat with me. Turns out she and her husband are going to re-do our bathroom; secretly, of course! So, this calls for me snooping around, acting like some sort of new age ninja as I glean color tastes from my parents, obtain pictures of the bathroom and do some background research in order to pass them along to my half sister. Man, I love being sneaky.

Chicago's date of going up is looming even closer. Darn it...

I'm amazed I haven't picked up the new Harry Potter book. Really, I am. Although, I have to say a few people or organizations have spoiled it, one way or another. I mean, come on. I was reading an article and it listed several key people who died. I looked around the article. There was no spoiler warning! burning_eyes But, yeah... why bother reading it almost? I know who dies, what happens, and the epilogue- all thanks to no spoiler warnings.

I really need to get a life. ....On second thought, NAAAAAH.
