I was just thinking last night as I lay waiting for Sleep to grace me with her presence...By the time I had collected all the thoughts and sorted them out, I came upon 3 questions: Why do we allow our parents to define who we are? Why do we allow others to define who we love? Why do we allow the world to define our lives?
These questions may just be directed to me and my life, but honestly, as I lay there thinking of all the guys and gals I've turned down because my parents and friends wouldn't approve, thinking if I had missed my chance with love because of my baffling desire to keep my family happy, I just wondered why I do it...
