I don't know why I feel this way. I'm sitting here, at the computer... and I can't shake this feeling of sorrow. It's subtle, but still, it's there. Like a dull ache nestled within the catacombs of my heart, my sadness is twanging and pulling at my heartstrings.

I've been thinking of everyone I've lost over the years. All my family members, my faithful furry friends, my few friends who have passed beyond the realm of the living...

Maybe I'm finally growing up. I've been slowly changing. My mind's more alert to things. I can't help be realize my life's going to change in a few days time. Yeah, it won't be major. However, it's one final step in leaving one state of mind and plunging within the confines of another.

I need to stop worrying. I've got to get happier. My mind keeps wondering and I keep thinking. It's an addiction I can't stop. It's proving to be an asset when it comes to my inspiration in writing. In the last few days my talent has blossomed and flourished with each swipe of my pen upon my paper.

I've also come across a thought I feel I should put down. It's my friends (close at hand, on the internet, etc). Why my friends? Well, sure, they've always been there for me. It's not only that mere fact. Without them, I wouldn't be my usual happy self. I know I've stated this before somewhere in the past entries of my Journal, but it's true. I wish I could somehow tell each and every one of my friends that.

I wish they knew how special they were to me...

Though we may drift apart with the shifting sands of time, there's one thing that will remain embedded in time: it's the memory of all of us together.
