Rant and note to the readers
It has been WAY too long before my last rant, I know. It might have pissed a few of you guys off. But as I said before, I'm not here to amuse you. I'm here to let off steam and to let you guys take a look at who I actually am. Not the super-happy, air-headed Ume you think you know. The actual Ume behind the facades and false stupidity put on so as not to seem too intense or too angsty or whatever you guys think. Though I do thank you guys for reading and commenting and all that good stuff, you guys seem to take what I say and interpret it a wrong way. It's not like I'm suicidal or depressed or pissed off all the time. It's just that a lot of subjects that tend to be really touchy (or not) really piss me off. Hence the word "rant" that I put in capital or bold letters before the subject. If you can't handle the fact that my rants are incredibly intense, don't read them. Or don't berate me because of my beliefs, or what was drilled into my head to believe. Either way, don't get all freaked out or anything. If I want you to freak out, I'd ask for help, then state my problem hysterically and dramatically in secret or something. Geez.

Anyway, with that put aside, I'd like to get to my rant. I took some information I had heard and got upset. My sisters have a collection of Barbies (mostly either naked, missing shoes, or missing limbs), some of which are collectible or are no longer sold in stores. It's just two of the vast collection of dolls that I am upset about.

She has one Barbie that was taken off the market. It's the tattoo Barbie, wich was taken off the market for being "inappropriate". However, there is a pregnant Barbie that is still on the market. Isn't that just a bit ironic? Tattoos are "innapropriate" and "immoral" to do to your body? I don't see how much it could harm to, say, tattoo a butterfly or a heart on your arm or belly or back. A glittery heart sounds like a really crappy tattoo, especially when one finds out that the tattoo will not have any glitter. A tattoo is something you will have to spend the rest of your life with, yes, but, being a tattoo enthusiast, almost everyone knows that the ink they're putting on their bodies will last forever, especially after finding out how expensive and painful tattoo removal is.

Tattoos are bad, but being pregnant at, say, the age of 17 is okay? Obviously the doll FCC or whoever does this crap has no idea how pregnancy happens and the amount of work a baby is. It's making more girls think, "Hey, I can handle this. Being a parent can't be too hard, right? And the doll I had when I was a little girl was still so slender and perfect. This'll be a piece of cake." I am fiercely Pro-Life, but I still think that young girls should not get pregnant in the first place. If you can't protect yourself and have a plan in case of an accidental pregnancy, don't have sex. It's an adult decision that should be taken seriously. ADOPTION IS AN OPTION! PLEASE DON'T KILL YOUR BABY BECAUSE OF YOUR MISTAKES!

I am not criticising teen parents. They can be great parents. A very special lady in my life became a mother at the tender age of 16 and has done an amazing job. I'm just saying that it's a lot more work than anyone could imagine. Even second or third-time parents have a Hell of a time. It's not just caring for a child's needs. It's molding and shaping the child into an adult and readying him or her for the world outside the nest. It's teaching your baby, from the moment they come into the world, life lessons, holding them as they cry, rocking them to sleep, feeding them, clothing them, driving them to ballet recitals and soccer games, and so much more.

I believe that pregnancy is an amazing, beautiful thing, especially when a woman is carrying her baby willingly and not without any remorse and with a man (or woman, if that is her partner) she unconditionally loves. A woman is always much more beautiful while with child. I don't care, and neither should mother or anyone else think otherwise, about some of the extra things that come with. It's a beautiful thing in which the mother's own flesh and blood is protected within her and grows for nine months, someties more, sometimes less. Pregnancy is the start of a new life. That's how each and every human being, just like you and me, were created. It's natural and amazing.

I believe I have made my point and no longer wish to keep typing. My wrists hurt and it's 3 AM. So, until next rant or poem that is worthy of being posted up in a blog or bulletin, I bid you adieu.

You have a point their Ki. They take the tattoo barbie off but leave on a pregnant barbie? Thats... Thats just ******** up.

You know how little girls think. They think of it as like a timeline sort of thing. So along comes barbie who gets pregnant, then somehow becomes this super thing, super curvy, perfect woman once more.

They will think thats the truth too. But its far from that. My mother gave birth to my older brother at the young age of 17. She wasn't ready to give birth to my brother, but she did. Because over time she grew to love the baby growing inside of her.

Point is, is she had two C sections. One for my brother and one for myself. You can't seriously believe that your going to come out of a pregnancy perfect, because we all know -- well at least most do -- that you can get scarred during pregnancy, and its been happening more and more often.

On another note; You know how I'm dating Shado?
I am doing the happy dance right now because I asked her to marry me on gaia and she said yes. ^_^
