Started with an idea....I meet Veth half way at our high school.
That part was easy. We met and talked. We walked towards his house....
first mistake. My sister called and screamed at me. I kept going down the road....second mistake. I walked around an elementary school to find water.
None!!! So I tried to hitch hike. No luck so I back tracked....I got a little lost.
About an hour I found out where I was. I listened for cars and went toward the sound. I saw the Horse place on the corner so I knew I was in the clear.
My feet were rubbing raw (I didn't wear socks....no clean ones) and I had cotton mouth. I stuck my thumb out at every car that passed. Finally near the middle school I saw a car turn around. I heard "Katie?" It was my friend Adam....."Thank you God!"
In the car was Alicia's mom. She gladly gave me a bottle of water and drove me home. I went up to the apartment and knocked. Nothing....I went to the main office and sat on the bench. I watched the pool water sparkle from a distance then after a while went back and tried again. I took a nap in the hall way. After my nap I tried again. The door finally clicked and I walked in. The apartment was so nice and cold!
I went back to the bed and tried to sleep but couldn't since I had took a nap....
So went my adventure....oh yes.... Kaitlyn S. and Heather shouted at Veth and me while we were walking.
Hope you enjoyed the small story...not that exciting to you but it was me who walked in the unknown dark. I was the one willing to ride with a stranger....
I was the one who was so thirsty...
