This is so I don't forget what movies I want to see. I know I will otherwise. D:
Across the Universe: Saw a preview for it today. Pretty sure it's set during the Vietnam war, but I get my wars mixed up all the time. D: The main character's name is Jude. The movies has lots of good Beatles music in it, as well as other awesome soundtrack-ness and just general awesomeness. ;3
August Rush: About a little boy in an orphanage, and how he leaves the orphanage to find his long-lost parents. The boy's mom is a cellist, his dad's a guitarist and vocalist, and their son's a prodigy! It's all centered on music! How could you possibly go wrong? -geeks out- It has that cute little boy from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory too; his name's Freddie Highmore (totally had to go look that up D; ). I just love him! >w<
The Spiderwick Chronicles: I read the book series a while ago, and thought it was really interesting. The CG looks amazing, pretty much the same style as Bridge to Terebithia (lots of earth-toned creatures and such, you know), only the story's totally different. :'D Looks good. This is another one with that Freddie Highmore. He's all over the place!
The Golden Compass: This is another one that I read as a book and loved. It looks flipping amazing. No lie. The alethiometer looks so much niftier than I imagined it when I was reading. xD
The Seeker: The kid playing the main character looks like he'll do a good job in that movie, and it looks really interesting overall.
300: Dammit, I need to see this movie so bad! x0
Blood and Chocolate: It looks really interesting, and I feel as though I don't watch enough werewolf movies.
Down in the Valley: It has Edward Norton in it. And he's playing a cowboy. 'Nuff said.
Disturbia: It just looks so trippy-crazy-weird. But I have to watch it with my friends, otherwise I'll probably get scared that my neighbors are serial murderers or something. Which would be really weird, because I know all my neighbors, and most of them are old people...
THINGS TO PONDER: Why the heck haven't they made Artemis Fowl into a movie yet? I know for darn sure that they could do it. Dx They just need to get the right boy to play Artemis Fowl. He's got to be made of awesome, I tell you. But we can't get Freddie Highmore to play him, because that boy is just too adorable to be a twelve-year-old evil genius...Well...maybe he could pull it off. But I wouldn't want to try it. xx;;
Where the heck did my tank top go? The goblins hid it too well. ;_____; And I really wanted it for the trip to North Carolina...
How the blazes am I going to finish my AP Lang assignment in time for school? I'm pretty much stumped. D:
When am I finally going to get around to actually playing the video games I've bought in recent months? I give up. I might have to wait until school starts to finally play Musashi. D:
