I had a lot of fun this weekend. Me, my mom, and sister, all went down to California to have a vacation at the beach. We went to Venice beach for the 1st two days, and then the Santa Monice Pier for Sunday. It was great. I got a few really cool things that I've wanted for a while. One thing, though - I was a bit bummed I couldn't get. I used to have this authentic samurai sword, with bamboo etched into the wood, which was perfect for me - being that my nickname is panda. Well, Erik took it from me. I know he didn't want it - but he refused to let me take it with me when I went over there to get my stuff after I left him. Just because he's an a*****e like that. I hate that man so much. I am such an idiot for marrying him. It's probably in some pawn shop now - sold for weed money. Anyways - they didn't have it at the weapons shop anymore. They apparently don't sell that style anymore. So, I got a set of 3 samurai swords instead, with a dragon etched around all 3 swords. It came with a stand, too. It's a pretty nice set. I'll have to check on ebay to see if I can find my bamboo-etched one, and get it back, maybe.
I also got something for Joe. So, I am hoping that things work well with him and me. He likes the Dallas Cowboys (Ick!) and so I got him this cool glass thing with the cowboys emblem carved into it. I got myself one, too - Steelers, of course. I was thinking of getting him a name thingie, too (you know, one of those where the people make animals and other things out of letters...?) but, since we really barely know each other, and he hasn't even asked me out on a date yet...I figured that could wait until later. I wonder what our first date will be? And when? He's working today, I'm pretty sure. And I have to go in tonight on my regular 11pm-7am shift, so it probably won't be until I have my 2 days off - which isn't all that bad, because that's only in 2 days. Still feels like a long time, though - because I've eben thinking about him constantly. Which is kindof odd, I think - because, like I said, I don't know anything about him. Other than his favorite colors are black and purple (same as mine - how perfect is that!?) and he likes the Cowboys. And that he is so cute, he made me shy for the first time in my whole life just by walking by.

Anyways - that's about it. It was a great trip, we are back home safe, and I shall end my journal entry here.
