5-2 Win
12:59 PM: At 7 'o' clock, Habs-Flyers' game will begin. This is the first time Briere is in Montreal since last season. He declined a contract made by Bob Gainey, our GM, in the post season. He then accepted Philadelphia's offer. He is now the player that is payed the most in the NHL. In the summer, there was a report saying he didn't accept Habs' offer because he wouldn't be playing on the first line. Then Briere went to Phila and accept their's.
8:36 PM: 1-1 in Habs-Flyers game. Great intensity in this match! Habs are applying alot of pressure and getting many chances. 15 shots to 6 for Canadiens. Biron has been good and Huet was kindoff unlucky. It's really sad for Briere. So many boos from the Bell Centre... I wonder if it distracts having 21 000 people booing you. The first fight was a clearly won by Komisarek! He kicked his a** or punched his face! Koivu had a beautiful goal! Hope this'll continue for Habs!
9:33 PM: 3-1 Habs! Are you suprised? This is a great game for Canadiens, a bad one for referees and Flyers. Refs, or only Chris Lee, have been27-13 shots for Habs. Many chances taken from Flyers' turn-overs. Kostopoulos with a Shorthanded goal after a 3-1. It was Kosto to Markov to Kosto again and a quick shot that went by Biron. This is the most irritating thing about this game... Higgins.... Why in the world can't he score?! So many beautiful chances and his luck has to leave! Damn... Our PK is good and PP is awsome! Kovalev's wrister is absolutely phenomenal! And for the Hamrlik penalty shot, he was meh-ish... it wasn't his fault though... he isn't really experienced at it so yeah...
10:31 PM: 5-2 Habs final score. Bad Awful game for Flyers. Habs played for a full 60 minutes and it showed. Not defending a huge lead in the second and third probably made us played well throught the game. Defense has been good and Offense was simply amazing. I am very suprise with how the team looks this year.I'm not saying we're gonna make the play-offs yet but it is still awesome we are winning against good team. Higgins scored.... which means i'm happy... biggrin Kovalev was still playing like he can. I knew i should have picked him! Latendresse had a great game as well as Koivu. He even spoke french!! So now, you can't blame him for not speaking french enough!
Three Stars:
1-Saku Koivu 2-Roman Hamrlik 3-Mike komisarek
Next game: Toronto Maple Leafs
