Habs announced that they have three nominees for the All-Star Game in Atlanta. Cristobal Huet, Saku koivu and Andrei Markov were the chosen in the montreal Canadiens roster.
This could be the second time Huet is participating in an All-Star Game. Last year was his first time in Dallas. He played in the third period after Ryan Miller from the Buffalo Sabres and Martin Brodeur, from the New Jersey Devils.
Saku has been invited to the All-Star game two times already. Once in 97-98 and the second time in 02-03. He declined the 02-03 invite because of an injury.
This is Markov's first time as a nominee. He is currently leading all defenseman in scoring.
