Michael Ryder was downgrade to the 3rd linein practice! Until he unblocks, that might be the best spot for him. Tom Kostopoulos has taken his place.
Kosto is not a talented player but can still play well defensively. He might be a short term solution. When the second line((A.Kostitsyn-T.Plekanec-A.Kovalev)) will stop working, I think Kovalev should be upgraded to the first line instead of Ryder. Kovalev has been playing great since the start of the season. I think he has played mor this year more than the whole other season.
Latendresse is also another possibility. Last year, when Higgins had an injury, he was replace by Tender and wasn't that bad.
