Okay, not really... Yesterday, when I was at the gas station, I shut my car door on one of my fingers. As in, my door was completely shut, with my finger stuck (I tried to pull it out!!!) in the tiny crack between my front door and my back door. When I got my finger out, the top was bleeding, and there was a blood blister on the bottom.
Unfortunately, I had no choice but to head on to work, but, as I was sitting in the parking lot, nursing my finger, I got the grand idea of popping the blister. Then, of course, it bled. A lot...
After that, I put on some ointment and a band-aid, then made burgers for seven hours. (For anybody that's wondering--I was wearing gloves!!!) But, when I got off work, my finger looked sooo icky! It was like a big bruise...
Now, most of the bruise is pretty faded looking, but my finger is red and feels infected, and the bottom is tingly, like I pinched a nerve. I can still bend my finger, and I have some feeling, but for the most part, feeling=pain...
I have drowned my finger in hydrogen peroxide several times, but I'm not sure how much that helped...
Then, my dad mad a comment about my fingernail falling out, and I was like, "NYUUUU!!!!"
It hurts to type... cry

My mom slammed the car door on my ring finger when I was younger and broke it... now it's crooked! scream
I hope you get better! Did you see a doctor about it? Ice or warm water for good amounts of time are really great for bruises...
