5-4 Shootout Loss
11:00 AM: First time Radek Bonk will step on the Bell Center's ice since last year, when he wore the Montreal Canadiens jersey. Habs lost 4-0 against Devils, but they probably hope we'll be better. Huet will be in net. But that was already decided before the New Jersey match.
7:45 PM: 2-0 Habs! Wow... Huet has been great while Kovalev has laready 2 assists. No wonder why he got the November Molson cup. Higgins already has a goal and Plecky as well! Whoohoo! To bad I can't watch this game right now...
8:35 PM: 3-0 Habs! WOW! After a 4-0 Loss, we bounce back with a 3rd period 3-0 lead... pretty good if you ask me. Guillaume Latendresse scored the third one. And we also get a PP for the beginning of the third. I prefer the current second line alot more. Higgins-Plekanec-Kovalev. I would kindoff prefer if Koivu was there but a line like that is scary even if you just think of it.
9:37 PM: AAH!! *big sigh* A 3-0 lead turns into a 4-4 tie... just great! Higgins' gonna hate himself for missing that chance on the PP. He had to hit the post! Man, this sucks! But I think it was because of a bad bounce on the boards that led to the Preds first goal that made them regain alot of energy. We're in OT....
10:02 PM: What a game...There were two penalties against Nashville at the end of Overtime... Maybe Carbonneau's idea of not letting the guys that got a penalty will be used... Habs won the last game against Nashville in a shootout, but Halak was in goal...
Bonk is first for Nashville. He shoots and scores in between the legs. It slighter s in.
Kovy for us but it goes over the net.
Erat is up. He scores easily... Huet... ugh...
Koivu can still save the SO. GREAT FAINT AND HE SCORES!!
Ex-Quebec Remparts' Radulov is up. Huet stops him with a pad.
Kostistyn misses and Nashville with a great comeback...
Really dissapointing loss, a heart breaker, a confidence killer... Leading 3-0 and losing 5-4 in a Shootout... Carbonneau is gonna be freaking mad in the next practices... But then again, Huet does let us down at the most crucial moment in several games now.
My three Stars: 1-The Nashville Predators 2-Guillaume Latendresse 3-Roman Hamrlik
Honorable mentions: Chris Higgins, Tomas Plekanec, Alex Kovalev. People(s) I'm dissapointed in: Cristobal Huet, Montreal Canadiens
Scoring sheet: Montreal: Chris Higgins, Tomas Plekanec, Guillaume Latendresse((2 goals))
Nashville: Jed Ortmeyer, David Legwand, Greg DeVries, Radek Bonk, Martin Erat((game winner))
Next game: Detroit Red Wings, December 4th.
