Maranda Hernandez fourth period
A razz lan of Investigation What was the Role of women in the 20th Century
Three issues that would help answer this question are Women in Politics, Women in work, and Women in Reform Movements. when it comes to women in politics, there have been a few rode blocks, but in 1920 they earned their right to vote. When it came to work, they were used to taking mens roles, but in the 1920's, the were only to take domestic and factory jobs, along with teaching and writing. And in reform movements, they participated in freeing slaves, banning alcoholic drinks, prison reform, and to improve education. These are a few of the things that should help answer the question.
Secondary sources were used to learn this. DaMetz, Claudia , 1994-2007, Women's International Center This was an excellent source because they use biographies and have links to other credible sites. N/A, 1997-2002, Living the Legacy: The Women's Rights Movement 1848 - 1998 This was also an excellent source because they have a detailed timeline and detailed descriptions of most of the big events. Both are also from women's organizations.
