Overlook An overlook on will to redeem, Sweeter than even the sweetest dream. Secret threats that bonds can break. Excuses hidden inside mistake. All things lost that don’t belong, Logic gone, and ill, and wrong. Jealous, nervous, broken eyes That feed the body’s longing lies. Exchange of envy, sick disdain, Thoughtful schemes in defensive vain. Throbbing acts, regretful voice, Wishing difference in former choice. Bound defeat in mental game For weak, for fallen, earning shame. Competition in living alone, Trade in words like ice, or stone. One in tears, other, laughter, Permanent ends, forever after. Certain moments provide prevail, Break to nothing, dissolve and fail. Arrogance or just belief That I will leave this with relief. Free of worry, proud, and hence; The mention of my confidence That I can walk away with pride, And you; with nothing on your side. Thoughts from me will be all to remain Of why I’m withstanding such a strain. It isn’t for victory, it isn’t for scheme, It isn’t for faulty remnants of a dream. I’ve a hope for new longing, an emotion of mine, A strange, bitter thought to begin living fine. Something at loss, inevitable event, Things can be shattered even if they are meant. Fine things in life require good will, Relations grow tired and love can fall ill, Smiles turn weary, and words become lies, Failure to cope comes with well-severed ties. Acceptance goes scarce; refusal to believe, That your failure takes steps in my plans to achieve. Your denial disallows your freedom to choose Understanding the fact that someone will lose.
