"A convention, huh? You mean for those geeks who play video games?" Serene asked, taking the homework and looking it over. She set it on the table and grabbed the Magazine from Migration's hands. "I guess it is..."
"No, it's not for geeks! It's for very professional people that enjoys playing games on a television." Migration said, trying to defend his statement. "Geek is a pretty strong word, don't ya think?"
"I don't really care anymore, seeing that there's nothing to do in Winter Break. I guess I'll go, maybe I'll probably enjoy the event." Serene said and looked up the stairs to a tapping of the wood. Averiyx soon came down, holding a piece of sock.
"Don't worry, I've heard of the convention before, I've been hearing they're fun." Averiyx said smiling. "I remember going to one of those before, so many people in costumes and all...I want to go."
"I can't just stay in my house with nothing to do also. So I guess I'll go. It seems that everyone else is going." Pink said, she had finally untangled that one piece of hair she's been brushing.
"Okay, so my mom can drive us there at around 7." Shadow said, he'd gotten the magazine from Serene and nodded. "The convention lasts for a week, I'll check it out with you guys. Yeah, my mother can drive us." Shadow said and looked at his watch. "Awww man, I have to go, dinner's calling."
"Alright, I'll see all of you guys in two days." Serene said and walked up the stairs, leaving her guests in the entrance room.
"So, what do we do now?" Pink asked, watching Shadow run out the door and close the door. "I feel like watching some MTV."
"I feel like watching some movies. But then again, ladies first." Migration said smiling. He walked to the living room with Pink and watched some of the shows, before he got finally bored in about an hour and had to go. He soon left Pink to watch on her own. Nothing much happened, a couple minutes later, Pink left and so did Serene, Averiyx was alone in her house, looking for the other pair of socks...
Meanwhile...
"My dad said he can drop us off at the convention, but he won't be able to pick us up." Mist said, he never knew about the convention going on, and once he got one of his Gaming Monthly magazines, he was excited.
"My could probably pick us up." IMyself said, she was talking on the phone with Mist. "Want me to tell the gang about who's picking us up and dropping us off?"
"No, it's okay, they're at the front of my house anyways. Okay, later." Mist said and hung up the phone, he walked out the house and explained how it was going down. Everyone agreed and walked back home.
"I can't wait for the convention. In only two days!" Mist said, he was jumping up and down like a hyena on drugs. "At least, we've got winter break, and the convention is going to be at our city for a week!" Mist, Link, King, and MP we're all talking on the phone to each other.
"Calm down, Mist. It's like it's the first time you've ever gone to a convention." King said finishing his report on the computer. "Is it?"
"Yeah, it is the first time I've gone to a convention, I've only seen the events on DVD previews. But now I can actually live it!" Mist said throwing his hands up in the air.
"Damn, Mist, are you really that excited? I'm excited but not as much as you!" Link said, getting a little bit too creeped out by Mist. He's known Mist ever since 4th grade, and he's never seen Mist like this, except for when he was going to a vacation during the school days. "Well, whatever, no on-"
"Does anyone know where I left my gum pack? I think I let King borrow it." MP said looking around her jacket, it's not really something to get worried about, she knew that herself, she was just doing it to change the subject.
"Yeah, I have it, I'll give it to you tomorrow, it's already too dark." King said, he knew what MP was trying to do, and he was going to do the same thing, just so Mist won't have to annoy them. "So, Link, did you see that new video I uploaded?"
"Which one?" Link asked, a bit confused.
"That one? Remember?" King said in an aggravated voice, he was trying to give Link the message.
"Oh, yeah, that one. That one was funny, with the flying monkeys and all..."
"Flying monkeys?" Mist asked, he didn't know what Link was talking about. "What video did you upload King?"
"This funny one, you can't find it now, I just deleted it." King said improvising.
"Well, I have to go, later." MP said hanging up.
"I can't wait for the convention for reals..." Mist said, "How can it ever go wrong?"
