So I'm off not only tomorrow but Monday. About time, really. I've been working non-stop with these openings and closings for the store... It's apparent that my main manager is not trusting my second key manager in doing the given tasks on time. Because of this, my normally seen 23 hours have become 39 or so. Sure, you're thinking this isn't much. However, imagine this large gap of increasing hours happening in less than a week's time and without notice. Yeah. I'm still trying to get used to the fact I'm home less and less now; or, well.. I'm home still, but the hours I'm awake are the ones that matter.

I'm getting further along in my book. I'm writing at supersonic speeds, fingers flying over the keyboard as each chapter is penned! I can't wait to finish this thing. It's taken a little over two years now, with over 200 pages, and it's STILL not completed.

Now I know what those other authors go through. It's maddening!

Anyone seen the trailers for the movie bashing the Sparta/300 movie? I SO want to see that thing... Looks like it's going to be great! I saw the trailer on TV about two nights ago.

On another note, Dad had ordered Hellsing OVA III for my "late" Christmas gift. I had received an email from Amazon.com that my package had been shipped. Well... that was a while ago, almost a week. I thought the blasted thing would never come! I kept thinking that it had suffered the fate of a won Ebay item of mine- some Yugioh cards, Gene Warped Warwolf. I'm still waiting on those, and they'll never come; they've been lost in the mail, and the original owner won't contact me in order to settle the dispute. What a cowardly thief... rolleyes

In the first place, I had asked for it because Geneon, as stated before in a previous entry, had become flushed down the animated toilet. No more, kaput! The whole publishing company is either gone, or will be come November. (Still, I've found Hellsing OVA IV trailers floating around Youtube, so if this means someone's still creating them is beyond me)

But, anyway, the package finally came today. In fact, mom told me the second I got into the car after work. About time! I opened the box, but I was somewhat amazed at what I saw.

Sure, it was the DVD. Yeah, it was the right one. However, it appears that Amazon sent me the limited edition two disc set with a figurine of Alexander Anderson (ironically one of my top favorite characters of the series)! I even noted what version it was of him: the beat up battle worn version where he's missing a chunk in his arm just like Manga 8 depicts.

I couldn't stop laughing. They sent me some more souped up version of what Dad (with my help) had ordered! We specifically ordered the DVD, but it had no mention of any figurine of any sort. I can't wait to scare mom with the manic grinning figurine. She never really thought highly of the Iscariot soldier- can't blame her, either. Every OVA she's seen him in he's beyond apeshit and charging after Alucard, knives drawn, and a manic grin plastered on his face.

I have yet to watch the DVD. Since it's 10:49 PM here, and Dad's getting off work in a bit, he's deserving of the TV. Since that's the case, I'll watch this sucker tomorrow, maybe in the morning whilst everyone else is asleep.

So, yeah, did I mention I heart Amazon.com? Heh heh...
