a lonely ribbon of water winds it's way through the bare rocks of it's bed trees are watching from the banks mocking the stream with it's laughter in the breeze a taunt the stream makes back, it's laughter scornful
rainbows race across it's surface dancing light as it reflects two forms one a dreamer, thier heart torn the other tawny, tail swishing
help me dear lion enfold me with your strength I no longer wish to see into this stream only to hear it laughing back at me.
your feathers find me a sweet caress of downy fluff as I lean on you my heart grows hides me from everything I fear.
such a powerful friend, my griphling purity in your words hidden meanings in your gaze will you keep me, my lion?
or will you swallow me whole?
do you even see me in your honeyed gaze? my heart is within your claws tear me apart dear lion and slake your thirst upon my beating heart
all the love I have is in dreams of you your strength is what makes me go on please don't turn your head from me simply for another beast.
a thousand words could not describe your beauty a thousand lonely cries in the night of your desire break me to pieces if you must but let me be yours alone
this dreamer has but one dream left dear lion this dreamer is for you golden visions of your name pawprints you've lain across my soul
how many lions have your grand wings beast? would you hold me in them once more? I wish only for your touch, your heart, my lion as you've already devoured mine.
