Rose’s soul is torn into seven different parts of herself, six in which that makes her as she is. Each but one makes a sort of world of their own, in which one would find Rose as something. In the Darkness part, one would find her much darker self, Thorn. Fear, a much younger version of Rose, about the age of nine, with no wings, horn, tail, or scar on her face. In Pain, herself with only the tail, no wings or horn. With Light, herself with only her wings, no horn or tail. In Pride, in her beast (cheetah) form. And in Care, she is herself without the scar on her face and with only her horn, no wings or tail. The last part of Rose is in the middle of the ‘paths,’ trapped and unconscious in the crystal, but cannot really be seen through the crystal walls.
Each counterpart of Rose holds a gem, in which would need to be taken to the crystallized-Rose and put in slots that points to each ‘path.’ When all of the gems are in place, Rose’s soul is whole again and she is released from the sleep-state she was physically in.
Darkness Trial - One has to fight Thorn and defeat her in battle. When defeated, she would admit defeat and grudgingly hand over the dark-red gem she holds.
Fear Trial - This ‘trial’ holds Rose’s most darkest memory at the age of nine, in which one would find the version of Rose as. The memory has to play through before one could approach the Young Rose, though it has to be a lot of coaxing to have her hand over the light-green gem she holds onto tightly.
Pain Trial - In this one, one will find the more-normal Rose (with only her tail, though) sitting in the middle of a small graveyard of the companions in which she lost in a fight with Zikomo, indicating why she preferred to traveling alone afterwards. With some coaxing, she hands over the blue gem without much trouble.
Light Trial - With this, she is with only her wings, no horn or tail. The difference with this one is that she is happy and playful. She will suggest a game of catch - which means one would have to find and catch her. And being the cheetah being, she’s very difficult to catch. She will happily and willingly hand over the yellow gem she hangs onto when she’s caught.
Pride Trial - For this small world, Rose is in her beast form, and she is the coldness in which Rose had been to people when they first met her. She will be sitting in a cage, while in the middle of a wide-open savanna, in which she wants to run in. With the distrust she shows in this one, one would have to answer her questions, and each question answered correctly will unlock one of the ten locks on her door. When free, she will quietly hand over the purple gem before running off to enjoy her freedom.
Care Trial - This last ‘world,’ Rose is only with her horn, and she’s missing the wings, tail, as well as the scar that would otherwise be in the middle of her eyes. This Rose will ask if they figured out the actual, whole Rose a lot better than when she wasn’t attacked and had her soul ripped in pieces by Cosmos. After an answer, she will smile and hand over the last gem, in which is white.
