DARREN
- The more he sat there with someone else he felt calmer, too bad he was such a shy being or else he could have gotten used to the company of another easily. His eyes would occasionally flicker over to Leigh for a moment too long, just to see what he was doing in a calm and collected manner of which Dare was terribly jealous of. As the young man across from him exhaled the smoke near his face Darren almost back a way a little, the smell made his eyes sting and nose run, but that could have also been because of the wind whipping around the area he sat. The smile across Leigh's face seemed to fade off of his expression, in which Dare wanted to ask what was wrong, but decided on keeping his mouth shut so he didn't seem like some nosy little twit looking into the other boy's life when he had just met him five minutes earlier, but he still wanted to know damn it! "Are you okay? Not trying to be rude, but I mean the not smiling, I don't want to be a nosy sun of a gun or anything hun." he said softly before smiling slightly, as if the smiles he shoved forward would make up for the lack of confidence. Darren just wanted to die after he realized he had called the boy hun, how much more of a sweetened word could he give up?
When the smile on the other teen's seemed to come back to life Dare let himself relax a bit against the bench, letting his eyes come off of Leigh for a long moment before they stuck back on him like glue. "England?" he questioned with a slight smile, happy that someone besides himself wasn't from the United States. Stopping himself from making a scoffing noise he softly said, "Try Japan, that was a fun fourteen hour trip. The kids over there have no life what so ever, their parents fill their minds with traditions and mindless studying so they can make tons of money when they're old. Then all they'll do is have kids and make that town of Tokyo more and more over populated." he said before sighing, then realizing it was rude to rant about things that had really nothing that pertained to the conversation at all a light pink tinge came across his features. "You can't be off to bad, considering we're in the same place." he said before shrugging his shoulders and looking down at his lap.
When Darren finally looked back up he saw that Leigh had moved much closer, much much much closer which had the pierced male's face pink and his heart thumping in his chest. Was Leigh going to hug him? Kiss him? Just the thoughts of it all had the cigarette that he had recently placed between his lips trembling slightly. "I can get hooked to something like this easily." he practically cooed, thinking more of the close bodies than the cigarette. When Leigh placed his hand actually on Dare the young man thought he might have died, his mind was going through turmoil and his stomach was doing somersaults on him. It was easy for Darren to tell that he was simply a play toy, but at the moment he could have cared less what he was. Leigh probably wasn't nervous to go anywhere with another, and he could tell by the easy touch that he might be a bit experienced, to put it nicely. The hand on his knee was there and gone quickly, but it had accidentally, or possibly purposely, touched his lips in which made Darren's spine shiver with wanting.
For the longest moment Dare forgot how to breath, forgot how to speak, and of course forgot how to keep his cool. Once he did remember how to breath he had practically sucked in too much air, causing the cigarette in between his lips to jump to life, sending toxic smoke into his lungs and scorching his windpipe. Being a first time smoker Dare also didn't let out the smoke in his lungs, causing him to choke and quickly rip the cancer stick from his lips, not caring where it fell. His lungs felt like they were on fire, thank God Leigh didn't see him flounder at his first attempt at smoking. Hadn't the other male known this was going to happen, but being one to not play the blame game he only cursed himself for not knowing what to do. As he attempted to get whatever smoke he could from his lungs, a painful matter no doubt, a few tears sprang to his eyes tempted to fall down his cheeks. Darren had brought his other knee up to his chest a wrapped his arms around his legs before putting his head down, still coughing and trying to stop acting like such a fool. He hated being so socially awkward, if he had any backbone at all he could have just said 'no I hate cigarettes' and gone without this little lung episode. He knew nicotine was addicting but the pain and terrible sensation it had given him this first time would be enough to stop him from ever going back. What if another boy asked him to spoke though, would he do it again? Probably, probably yes he would. Who was he kidding? He knew he would take another one right now if Leigh asked him, no confidence in his own words or himself as an individual.
I'm sure to die if this whole ordeal comes to be like this morning, he thought to himself before sitting back up and wiping his mouth and eyes. He had a feeling that Leigh was probably going to be laughing his a** of at him, cruelty would be a fine price to pay for that other boy. The thoughts of being tormented made his already sick feeling stomach burn, the beginning of hell was just start, he could tell. Letting his eyes drift anywhere besides Leigh he spotted another young man in the near distance, standing and looking over at them. Cocking his head to the side Dare politely waved him over and let the weakest smile ever pass his lips. "You going here too?" he called before letting another cough into the air. The question sounded like they were all going to a summer camp, when this was ever so grim. Waving the boy over Darren stood up and grabbed a hold of his bags, dragging them closer to Leigh, but still not letting his eyes contact with him.
"Inside we go." he said almost sighing and turning towards the door, still pulling those over stuffed items with him. Upon coming to the door he backed up on it, pushing it open with his backside and shuffling in. Quickly he looked around the large building, which really did look like a jail building, or juvenile hall to an extent. "Name?" asked a large black man behind a glass wall. "Dar-Dareen Evans." he said softly before leaning against the counter. "One of six..." muttered the man before motioning forward to a woman with a stern face holding a metal detector that motioned for his bags to be brought up to the table to apparently be searched. After he took out all his piercings and anything else metal on his being he watched the careless woman shuffle through his things in which he couldn't help but say, "Don't wrinkle those! I just had them dry cleaned." The woman shot him a look in which he just shut his mouth and stood there until he was free to go to the large sleeping area in which ten boys shared a room in. Dear God, he thought before chewing at his lip and waiting for the only person he had met here so far.
