The long forgotten lore of my life
When I feel like it I'll update with my thoughts, views, nonsensical ramblings or events. Just another look into my chaotic enough life. I never know what's going to happen.
Card games, video game tournaments and sugar, oh my!
Friday, January 18:

I love Teen Nights- I really, really do. This one was exceptional, in fact. Nothing too terrible happened (besides some spaztastic tweens leaving their Monster energy drink on the table; it was knocked over, left there along with four out spilled drinks, seeping into everyone's stuff, including my Nintendo DS!! stressed God must have liked me that night- it wasn't harmed in the least bit).

Started off on a wacky beat. Seems some of the SSB:M fighters set up a tournament, having multiple people paired up against other players. Overall... I sucked. Badly. Odd, I mean, normally I'm pretty good with my character (Falco- only one I use). Still, I had fun. I lent my version of the game to a friend, Emma. Oh, Emma, have fun with it!! You should have quite a blast with it. You're pretty good with Link already- all you need is some quality time to use him, polishing his moves out a bit more. Borrow it as long as you need, kiddo. biggrin

The Rock Band and Halo people set up their separate stations. I really need to get into Halo or something... my half sister is nuts for it, and she's wanting to pull me into the fandom as well. In fact, her entire household is apparently masters at the game, and hold their own all night tournaments with friends on various weekends. Any game with guns and explosions in it I'm sure to love!

Play some good ol' Yu-Gi-Oh. It first started off as a 5 person duel, but we later ended it (due to lack of concentration on our parts) and settled for a one-on-one (me and Michael). His deck is simply amazing. He's put so much time and effort into making it, it's practically flawless! I managed to win, but I wasn't use to doing that (winning, I mean) that I was about to do my next move before he actually mentioned that the duel was technically over, and his Life Points were gone. Shocked me!

Also he's getting really good at Bloody Roar. He's getting almost unbeatable when he uses Yugo, the Wolf. Guess I should practice with Long (the Tiger) a bit more for our next match!

So, simply put, Teen Night was excellent. It got me out of the house and amongst my friends again- something I really, really cherish. I hate being cooped up in this house all day long without being able to see my friends for long periods of time. I go insane!

My half sister (one mentioned above) comes down tomorrow with her family. It's my mom and dad's birthday (born on the same day, albeit 11 years apart), and her birthday was last week as well. Big celebrations going on! I have to really get this place in tip-top shape. Supposing I should get off Gaia and stop stalling, eh?

heart Peace out, ya'll! heart

P.S: Billy, if you're reading this, do tell me if you had some mega crash after drinking those several vials of 5 Hour Energy drink that you imbibed during Teen Night!!
