The BIG issue in the world..... |

Ok I have been thinking about this for a few weeks now, just decided to type it down. If this offends everyone, I am sorry. I see the world as a biologist, deal with my degree.
I don't exactly agree with the whole thought of a person being gay, bi or lesbian. Sorry I just don't see it. I know you can love someone deeply enough it hurts. I have had my fair share of love, promise all guys. However, love is perceived as an emotion and therefore seen as a part of our psychology not our biology. For those who cant tell the difference, biology is a life science, psychology is more of a understanding science. Prime examples, DNA forensics belongs to biology, as emotional trauma belongs to psychology.
I am a religious person, but I haven't quite found in the Bible where it says to hate all homos. I only see where it might be an issue is with the whole thought of a man leaving his family to take a wife. Thus the orientation of marriage, till then my glossary and my concordance, has not shown me the use of the word Homo, listed in the Bible. Besides if you are a human you are called in latin Homo Homo sapiens. Its called archeology, look it up some time. If you start on that crap with Jesus only being around men, and calling them brother, friend. Understand he ate, slept, traveled with, no where does the Bible state he did a sexual act with any of them. I wont use the Word against you, trust me. That part of the whole issue bugs me all on its own. However I don't see homosexually supported in the Bible either.
Can someone please tell me when men start having kids? Seriously people, the physical structure of the human body, be it male or female, despite the amount of plastic surgery you have to change your body to the opposite gender. The parts simply won’t work. Its not programmed into your DNA, which quite frankly the picky part is that damn XX or XY. You can’t change your DNA, literally impossible. Even if you pump a person full of hormones, such as estrogen to testosterone. You will only stop a woman from her period, and perhaps make her angrier. *shrugs* Um, she still has the ovaries, no sexual physical change.
Only a few species in this world can get away with changing gender. Earthworms carry both, and change depending on the situation. A certain tropic fish, when the dominate male dies, a dominate female, physically and biologically, can change her body, and sex organs to become a male. Amazing yes, certain other animals can change too, however humans can not do this. IF a gene can be found with in the thousand codes of our DNA, that will change our sex, meaning reproductive organs, then by all means change it that way. Till then, its only a psychological trend that is spreading.
A trend, that danger we all faced in childhood of not being good enough to fit in with the more popular group. Thus you change your hair, clothing, talk, friends, etc, till you lose your own identity, and fit into the desired popular group. Congrads. Are you happy now? Fully adapting into something that possibly makes you hated? No I dont see the homos being a disease, but I can see its as a trend. Strong enough that it changes how a person feels, acts, and reacts to the same gender. Every day a new person comes in and states if they are bi, gay or lesbian. I don't freaking care, much less did I give a damn to know. Yet 3 years ago when I started it was nothing but, "hey I am new". What is the ******** point? Sorry I don't see exactly where it is needed to state your sexuality. Most don't care. Kind of sick of people choosing friends based upon that. Doesn't seem very conversational.
Don't get your panties in a bunch, just yet. I have a few friends that are gay, or bi. So yes I have come to tolerate it. Often times I defend them, but that is on other issues not sexuality ones. Don't even think of me as a racist. I am not. You have the same organs as me, except reproductively depending on the reader. I could care less about your skin color, I will still call you my friend. However, do not hate me cause I can not understand your language. I was raised in a dominate English speaking country. I have gradually come to terms with a few other languages, but this doesn't mean I will know yours. Chances are I won't.
Only certain things have been linked to DNA, such as cancer, AIDS, and other lovely actual diseases, mutations. I understand the rare chance of a person carrying both genders, but it is even rarer that the person makes it through life with out committing suicide or dying at an early stage in development. I know gays, bi, and lesbians often get beaten up, disowned or black sheeped from their families. Granted I don’t agree with the abuse and cast out. Due to my strict anti-abuse discipline of any child. Only if you really deserve it should you get your butt paddled. Likewise wouldn't use it as a cadlist in a fight over sexually when you come out either. Stating, "just cause I don’t like girls you beat me, ******** you". That only continues the fight and most likely ends with bad results.
The reason I see it as a psychological trend, is due to the fact that people are now going with their emotions when they see the same gender any more. There is nothing in your biology that will make you gay, bi, or lesbian. You are born with what you got, work with it. It’s a tend cause all the famous people are "coming out". Sure I think Angelia Jolie looks gorgeous. However I am not instructing my thoughts to drool over her. She is just very good looking. I care about my two best friends, who are both female, I will fight to protect them, and respect them. They are both my friends, thats all. Granted there are people I know that are following this trend. Why must you change what you know, to just fit in? I do stand behind the quote that "in every generation is discovering new ways to piss off the previous generation". Its in the news every day, or on the web somewhere, about a gay or lesbian getting beaten up, or killed. Did we suddenly all forget that gay just means to be really happy, or was the old English wrong in its translation?
*rubs my head* I might have rambled, sorry, but its been locked in my head. Only typed out does it stand a chance to make sense at it. Hate me for what I said, fine, but I truly stated how I feel.
