Chicken Wars!
Today was the first day of the chicken war! It all started...two hours ago when a friend and me were taking our chickens for a walk. It was peaceful, except for the chickens howling at each other...anyways we looked around and everyone looked at us funny. I was like,
"What are you looking at, never seen people walk a chicken before? Geesh!"
They just thought I was crazy told them people,
"My chicken has a RIGHT to be exercised like any other animal on this here planet called earth! IT'S A FREE COUNTRY! IT'S A FREE COUNTRY!"
I was yelling all over with my friend Sally Joe. Now Sally Joe understands what its like to walk a chicken. She’s been walking chickens her whole life.
"No one appreciates chickens like us!"
I turned my head in disgust!
"Chickens don’t walk them selves you know! Who else is gonna teach 'em how to fly? Huh?"
Sally Joe Yelled. I laughed,
"Chickens can’t fly."
"We'll just teach 'em!"
Sally Joe grinned.
"We'll teach 'em!"
Mean while, Bob Billy was walking his two chickens with his friend Jeremy Scott! He’s not much of a chicken lover unless it’s cooked of course…so the chickens where a little…umm…afraid of him. But he was a good guy, nice, funny, and differently not a vegetarian!
“Hey Jeremy Scott, would you mind holding miss Angie here?”
Jeremy Scott nodded then took the girl chicken.
“Come on Miss Angie, let’s walk.”
“BUKAWK!”
Angie squealed.
“Hey Billy Bob, Isn’t that Sally Joe and Maryann Neyo?”
“Yep, I suppose so.”
Billy Bob replied and walked toward us.
“My chicken doesn’t like you, Maryann Neyo!”
“Well, Jeremy Scott I don’t like your chicken!”
I said and made a face.
“Hey Sally Joe, you look mighty nice walking your chicken!”
“Umm…thanks?”
“No Problem! I just can’t believe how professional you look!”
“Oh, well I’m not as good as you! You’ve been walking chickens a few more years than me!”
Sally Joe blushed.
“So Jeremy Scott, whatcha been up to these days?” I asked.
“Ah, you know the usual walking chickens, getting bit by them, getting chased…what ‘bout you?”
“Ah shoot, Jeremy Scott you need to pay more respect to these poor creatures!”
“THEY STARTED IT!”
Jeremy Scott Shouted.
“I don’t care, now I’ve been up to absolutely nothing.”
I said and patted my chicken on the head.
“Now Maryann Neyo Don’t change the subject! I ain’t done nothing wrong to these chickens.”
“Jeremy Scott I don’t care! I don’t want to talk about it. Just come on and let us walk…towards the rising sun…to get BACON!!”
“I’m already there!”
Jeremy Scott and I laughed.
“Sally Joe and Billy Bob are you two Lover Chickens coming?”
They both nodded and yanked their chicken leashes.
“BAKWAK!” The chickens Squawked.
On the way to the restaurant the chickens got a little…out of hand and started to peck each other.
“Sally Joe, get your chicken off my Miss Angie!”
Billy Bob shouted.
“Billy Bob, get your Miss Angie off my chicken!”
Sally Joe shouted back.
“Maryann Neyo, your chicken is peckin’ my Darling Suzy!”
“Jeremy Scott, your Darling Suzy is peckin’ my chicken!”
Now, everyone had steam coming out of our ears.
“Bring it on!”
We all shouted at the same time.
“Let the Chicken War begin!”
A random man in pink, shouted running out of site and tripping over a garbage can.
“I’m okay!”
He shouted again and we saw him fall to the ground.
“Hmm…Chicken War? I like the sound of that!”
Jeremy Scott said, rubbing his chin.
“Jeremy Scott! Don’t you go making your chicken fight your fight! It ain’t right!”
I shouted and picked up my chicken.
“Nah! Your just afraid your chicken will lose!”
Billy Bob joined in.
“No, I’m just afraid your rooster and Miss Angie will get their chicken behinds wiped!”
I laughed.
“We’ll just see about that! Sally Joe, I challenge you and Maryann Neyo to a Chicken War!”
Jeremy Scott and Billy Bob Grinned the same stupid grin.
“Umm…Maryann Neyo?”
“Ah Shoot, Your on!”
I steamed and let my chicken off the leash.
