- Kimi was sitting on the cold floor of the hospital, people were rushing around her as she sat there smiling like a baby doll, it was so nice there. Her legs sprawled out in front of her as she played with the Barbie dolls, making believe that she was the blond one, even though her hair was very dark brown, and that the Ken doll was her prince charming. Moving the plastic doll up and down she made out her own little scene, only for it to be interrupted by her manager, well ex-manager. 'Kimi!' he boomed, his height very apparent as she sat on the hospital floor as nurses and people laying on gurneys zoomed around her. 'You're fired from Crash Plastic!' he yelled before ripping the doll from her hand and snapping it in half. In her sleep Kimi rolled over and clutched at her pillow tightly, she knew it was a dream, but she just couldn't shake herself out of it. The room began to spin and as it turned upside down people would fall to the ceiling, but it would quickly turn back over and place everyone back where they stood. The younger version of the seventeen year old stood up, only reaching chest level of the manager. Grasping the other doll in her hand she flung it at him, smacking him right where his heart should be, but instead of it just dropping to the floor it broke him. The manager broke into a million little pieces, hitting the ground with an ear chattering roar as glass shards flung into the air. Now seated in the back seat of a car, one sickeningly familiar to her dead parent's old one, she watched as the lights sped closer and the screams inside and outside the car became louder. As they crashed her body was jolted...awake.
Hands wrapped around the sheets tightly Kimi bounded upwards from where she lay, making her grab onto her head as she saw multi-colored lights everywhere. That dream, was always there. It's not like it was a traumatic dream, she just mated how it would often repeat over and over in a week and she could do nothing to stop herself from springing up and being scared out of her mind, the dream wasn't even that scary! Glancing over at the clock she ran a hand through her hair, it was 2:37 am, why the hell would she want to get up now? It was far too early to even think about getting ready for the day and if she decided to get up she would have been far too tired to socialize with anyone from Crash Plastic at whatever time they were meeting. Sighing deeply Kimi stood up and began pacing her room, which was pitch black and she kept on knocking into the random items on her cluttered floor, not really minding if it sounded like someone was going to break into the shared apartment. Squinting her eyes at the clock once more she saw that her pacing only passed two minutes by, why wouldn't time hurry the hell up already? 2:39, she stood there waiting for the minute to tick by. 2:40, the minute finally changed. Winching slightly as she stood there Kimi couldn't help but think of what the day could possibly hold, it could either be complete hell or she could happily be reunited with the rest of the band mates and everyone would be all happy-dandy with each other, but at the moment Kimi felt it would be the first of those two options.
2:47. "Tick-tock, tick-tock..." she repeated as she sat on the cold carpet of her floor, sleep didn't seem to want to come back to her at the moment, even though she was practically pleading for it. Leaning back onto the carpet she stared at the shadowy ceiling that had glow-in-the-dark stars masking-taped to it. She had recently put them up actually, the day she found out the band was going to be reunited actually, maybe they were inspiration stars or that maybe the whole group could once more go onto the scene of becoming artists once more, wouldn't their fans take them back no matter what? It had been a long time though, did people still listen to their music? Still want to hear her cream vocals? Want to hear Dare on the drum set laying down rhythms for everyone else to follow? Want to hear their speakers booming to her brother's thick bass beats? Cracking her knuckles Kimi sighed, what if this whole band reunion was for nothing at all? Would everyone just get back to their olds ways of picking fights with one another or try and forget all about everything in the past, but that would be hard for certain members of the band.
Clearing her throat she happily thought of possibly screaming side by side with [-Insert the sexy lead singer's name here-], no long did she feel that way towards him, but just the remembrance of how she used to feel made her cheeks flush with pink. Their last performance had been a rocky one, everyone had been feeling the tension and no one had been in a particularly great mood, unlike their usual outlook on life at most performances. The energy on stage must have been bad, considering no one was thrilled to be standing by whomever they might have been. Of course things had been planned out before, but that had been weeks earlier, too bad things changed so quickly within Crash Plastic. Sitting up once more and staring at the clock she now saw that her thoughts had barely taken up any time at all, since it was only 3:37 at the moment, while she had been hoping for sometime around six, but who was she kidding with that want. Rubbing her eyes, which were still covered in mascara, eye-liner and the assortment of colored shadows she had used Miki sat up, then stood up and walked back to bed, sliding into the covers and closing her eyes once more. "Just three more hours..." she breathed to herself before thinking more about today, then slightly drifting off...
Exactly three hours later, seemingly on the dot, Kimi was up and at her closet, randomly picking out items that would seemingly match in a quirky, eclectic way. Her pajamas were thrown on the floor, along with many other clothes that she had worn on previous days, and quickly a pair of dark blue skinny jeans with a snowy white belt were on her body, and she was simply hoping her brother would knock on the door if he needed her, considering that would make this a very awkward situation. Her brother never knocked, never thought it was courteous to do so, and often barged in on her when she was with a boyfriend, or simply singing old lyrics. Both embarrassing. Her bra, white laced undershirt, and black Pikachu shirt were on her top half as she thought about that, shaking the thoughts from her head as she glanced in the full length mirror, it was good enough for today, she didn't need to make any impressions on a certain half of the band. Besides, Dare and [-Lead singer-] probably couldn't care less about what she looked like, Gabe, Jo, and [-guitarist-] would probably poke fun at her no matter what she looked like, besides they were the dark side of the band, well, that was a little crude.
Slipping into her dainty zebra print flats and crossing the room to her wall, which all of her jewelry hung off of, Kimi took a strand of black beads, a strand of yellow, and a practically ancient yellow thunder bolt necklace and placed them around her neck, deeming herself finally done. Stepping out of her room quietly, basically so she didn't and wasn't going to wake him for the day, he could get up by himself, she did. Stepping into the small bathroom Kimi cleaned off her left over make up and replaced it so it looked flawless, just like it did everyday. In a matter of three minutes she was ready to go, not to meet the band, but to her favorite place in the world, the coffee shop only two blocks away. Stepping from the bathroom and then soon after out the door she didn't bother waking her brother, he probably expected her to be gone anyway, no big deal for her. Now, it wasn't like Kimi to be so, well, rude, but after her brother basically ruining the band for everyone he was on his own. Well, two other members of the band didn't think so, but she was on Dare's side with this one.
As Kimi walked her way down the block she passed the meeting place of Crash Plastic, only to keep on going with her head down. Occasionally she would get some super-fan of Crash Plastic waiting for her at the coffee shop, since it had been a major place where the band used to hang out, but since the band's break up it had lost popularity greatly and Kimi almost felt bad because of it, so she would often pop in to get it a little more influx of others, but who was she kidding, she wasn't Gabe, Darren, or [lead singer]. Peaking her head in the door, the tiny bell ringing softly as she entered, Kimi raised her hand in greeting with a large smile and called, "Mint Frappe, please, Carlile." to the waitress behind the counter she had come to know quite well. The lady only seemed to nod, considering it was still very early and she seemed to want to be back in bed instead of being told what to do by Kimi and the few other customers that were happy to have their morning dose of caffeine. The lady was standing next to her, her drink being handed to her in a portable cup, shooting her a questionable smile of how she knew it was a to-go, Kimi shrugged it off and slowly walked back up the street, hoping not to be the first one there. As she rounded the slight corner to the meeting spot she already saw that three young males were there, her brother included, it seemed like he got up alright by himself. Softly doing a bit of a half skip closer to the boy she smiled, chewing on her straw, but wasn't really sure what to say, things felt sort of awkward already.
