I was reading things some of my lady friends had posted in the guild I'm in, and they were all so cute. One of them inspired me to write a story about my dream proposal. Here it is [yes, it's written about Pat and me. xD]:
It was her sophomore year. It was his senior year. They were both in the same gym class; him really shy, and her really open and outgoing. Complete opposites just from looks alone. He was very good looking, nice hair, gorgeous eyes, kind exterior. She was short, long hair, dark unforgiving eyes, piercings. Typical harsh exterior. He was attracted to her at first sight, and she was to him. She was just too shy to start up a conversation with him, though she'd started talking to almost everybody else. Her friend called him down and started flirting with him, but the other girl who had the harsh exterior felt hurt and secluded herself from the conversation, laying her head upon the cold hard plastic of the steps of the bleachers in the gym. She noticed the boy looking at her, and she'd look up at him and he'd turn light pink and turn away. She'd sigh softly to herself and look back down at her hands; they were all scratched up from her cat and constantly picking at her fingernails. Quickly she turned them into fists, trying to hid them from him. Before she knew it, he was talking to her. She didn't know what to think. They got talking and laughing, and it was slightly awkward for both of them. The lunch bell rang, and he asked if he could sit with the girl and her friends. She giggled, and said, "Of course." He smiled and walked with them, and sat down with her and made new friends. The girl really had a strong attraction towards him; she was positive it was love at first sight. Within the next two/three weeks, she got the courage to ask for his number. He smiled and said, "Sure." and they exchanged numbers. This was August 20th, 2007. Later that night she texted him, and they got talking for a while. She wanted to drop a hint, so she made-up a forward about how she thought the guy should ask out the girl. He replied to this, "Is that a hint?" the girl, who was playing her guitar in her room while listening to Green Day set her guitar down once she read this text, her heart racing. "No, of course not. Just a forward I got. I send all of them." He replied, "Oh." Just that simple word. She was bummed, and they didn't text for the rest of the night. The next day he was really shy around her, and when he would talk to her, he would laugh nervously; as if planning on something. The girl felt flirty, and took his car keys before fourth block. All her girl friends in that class were telling her he was going to ask her out once she told him everything. She denied it, and continued with her work. The bell rang, and the girl walked out to meet the boy. She handed him his keys, and they hugged and laughed. The boy walked her to her bus, his arm around her hip slightly. The girl was lightly blushing the whole time, thinking something was up. This must be a trick. He's doing it to hurt my feelings. They stopped at her bus, and they hugged and said their good-byes, and as the girl was walking to her bus, the boy ran back to her and turned her around, looking deep into her eyes. His face was bright pink, and then she knew. Her face turned pale, and she listened closely to his words. "Will you go out with me?" She didn't know what to say. "Sure." She said. He got a big smile on his face and they embraced like there was no tomorrow, then they both rushed-off to their buses. She got on and sat down, wishing she had said "yes" a different way. Months will pass in their relationship, and things have only gotten better. It's their one year, and it's raining outside. They decide to take a walk, and the boy and girl are holding hands, the girl resting her head upon his shoulder. The boy's left hand is in his pocket the whole time, but the girl doesn't notice. Suddenly they stop at a pond in the golf-course, and he takes out his hand, wrapped tightly around a box. The girl doesn't notice; she just clings to his arm and watches the rain ripple on the pond. The boy turns her towards him and gets on one knee, looking up at her. The tree they're under shades them from the rain, and her hair is dripping, along with his. The boy is awe-struck, thinking she's gorgeous. Her hair wet and dripping with water, along with her clothes. Her eyes staring into his. The girl is taken aback by his looks. His dirty-blonde hair dampened to look brown against his face, his hoodie sagging off of him from the rain water. She looks down at the little box, and places her delicate fingers over her mouth - they are no longer scabby and gross. He opens the box, revealing a beautiful diamond ring. His voice is a soft whisper, blending in nicely with the pitter-patter of the dripping rain. "I love you with all of my heart. I have loved you ever since I first saw you. I knew from the first time I saw you that I wanted to be with you forever. You're so amazingly beautiful and wonderful, and I've never loved anybody in my life." A couple seconds of silence. "Will you marry me?" The girl's eyes are watering, tears dripping down her face. The boy can see this and smiles, knowing they're tears of happiness. "Of course I'll marry you! That would make me the happiest girl alive!" The boy puts the ring on her finger, and stands up to embrace her. They kiss right there in the rain; the moment lasting for all eternity.

So my fiance wants to properly propose, and that's how I really want it done. I haven't told him how I want to be proposed to. He's never asked, which is fine with me. Pat proposed, but he didn't have a ring so it's been bothering him. He really wants to do it properly. I hope it's something cute and romantic like what I have written down. D':
