I want to share a poem I wrote yesterday after reading a poem from a friend, Loki, she writes so well, and her poem was so tragically sad it put me in the mood to write this...it is te truth behind the feelings I shared in my entry before I left for vacation.. domokun

THE SHADOW

They pass each day
without a word
as my shadow walks with theirs
the don't speak to me, they simply stare ahead..
leaving me behind...leaving me behind once again
The crowd so full of people
They laugh, each one of them seemingly more
animated than the last
coversing with friends who walk beside them..
I pass right on through them.

I am a shadow
A shadow that walks silently through
the crowds of laughter..
I am sometimes noticed
finally visible
They look at me
looking feeble
They laugh
Horrible taunting words
I wish to disappear
I fill my thoughts of hate
I dispise them all.

Yet, I yearn for just one to look at me
For just one soul to look at me and see..
a girl walking alone wearing black..like a shadow clinging to the wall
passing on through the halls
and for them to say to me..
just once, with a sincere smile
"Hello".

Tears in my eyes I whisper to myself..
"such a foolish wish.."
Such a foolish desire that fills my heart
I walk alone again
passing by ..
as a shadow

~IMAGINARY ANGEL

I know, it sounds strange, but, sometimes when your teased by seniors, Jrs. and even freshman (OMG NOT ..FRESHMAN!! *laughs* I will be a sophmore..what a strange word.. whee )...life in High school, even just walking down the hallway seems a bit lonely. whee
