1-0 Win
Game Preview: Philadelphia is visiting the Montreal Canadiens tonight at the Bell Centre to play against Carey Price and one of the best powerplay in the league. The Flyers and the Canadiens are both top teams in scoring. Alex Kovalev is still uncertain of playing tonight's game because of an injury suffered on Wednesday against the Panthers. He or the coach will take a decision prior to the game.
1st Intermission: No score after one period in Montreal. This is a pretty good game! A lot of good hits. Price has been real good and ditto for Nittymaki, but he doesn't seem really at ease. Many chances are made from both sides, especially Montreal's. I LOVE how the fans react when Briere touches the puck. Booes are going from side to side... Aww... I wsh I could be there. One minute of powerplay left for Philly. 10-10 shots on goal.
2nd Intermission: Nice! Habs leads 1-0 after 40 minutes of play. The game is getting better and better with every moment! I think I like Sergei Kostitsyn's guts. He isn't afraid even though he doesn't have a a body to scare off players. Price has been awesome or even amazing recently. Nittimaky has been good, and the goal he let in wasn't really his fault. It's too bad Habs are on the PK for about a minute in the beginning of the third once again.
Final: MONTREAL DEFEATS PHILADELPHIA 1-0! Carey Price's first career NHL shutout. Amazing, spectacular, a ******** awesome performance by Carey Price! I love that ******** b*****d! A shutout after facing 30+ shots, 10 were on the 5-on-3 PK! What a guy! He was even calm after the win! The crowd was chanting "Carey, Carey, Carey...", a well deserved more or less ovation. Andrei Kostitsyn gets the game winner. One more time tomorrow in Philadelphia. Should be amazing. My three Stars: 1-Carey Price 2-Andrei Kostitsyn 3-Antero Nittymaki
Score sheet: Montreal: Andrei Kostitsyn. Philadelphia: None.
Next Game: Philadelphia Flyers, FEB 17th.
