Things have been crazy lately... and no poetry from me. I wish I could put what I'm getting ready to write into poetry, but it's not coming to me like it usually does.
Love: A wonderful reason to get warm feelings when you see their picture, hear their ringtone on your phone, or to see them smiling in person?
Or is it a way to die on the inside without realizing it? To still love them so much, but you can't seem to reach them? They always seem so close, but just as soon as get close enough something jerks them away?
Everyone I know lately is falling apart. They're ripping at the seams from pain in their hearts. Their dreams are plagued with joyful dreams to wake to a painful reality. Reality just leaves more time for the mind to drift into painful thoughts. They might fade as friends come by and you smile, but it works it's way back regardless.
The worst is... I know they love each other... and I like to think he still loves me too... if he ever truly did in the first place.
