5-4 lost
Game Preview: Afteer an historical event in Montreal tuesday, Habs will face the red hot Pens. All-star Sidney Crosby is still out with an ankle injury. Last time we've met each other, Pens were Crosby-less and still won. Evgeni Malkin has taken it up a notch and stormed the league with assists and goals. Montreal has been performing excellentely in the last four games, winning all of them. Cristobal Huet is expected to start.
1st Intermission: 2-0 Pens. Ruutu and Whitney both gets goals. Habs looked awful, especially on that second goal. The Dandy-Lappy-Tender line looked good. It created chances that were missed.
2nd Intermission: 3-2 Pens after 40 minutes! Chris Higgins (!, woot!) and Saku Koivu ( razz ) scores for Montreal making it a one goal game! The league's number one powerplay strikes again! Pens dominated us in the first half, but we might slowly take it back. I'm a bit afraid of Huet right now... and not in the good way.
Final: Well, it was a good effort from the Habs, but they ended up losing 5-4. Sergei Gonchar gets the winning from Evgeni Malkin. What a guy. He's amazing. Even though we made a good comeback to make it 4-3, Pens are amazing and got the win. I'm actually not that upset. Yeah, we lost but I feel like we gave a more or less hard time to the Pens. In the end, it was because of one powerplay and Malkin. Koivu has been wonderful tonight
