Where everything isn't as it seems. You're all alone and empty feeling but it's not a bad feeling. It's on those kinds of days where you just gotta..... Destroy the world.
Chaos
Staring blankly at no one. King Knight blasting in my ears from my headphones. Just feel like moving but sitting on a crowded bus full of bad smelling city walkers was hardly the place. I try to stare out the window opposite of where I was sitting but it was hard when a fat man was blocking my view. I catch the eye of an old woman staring at me, shaking her head at my loud music: Almost saying, "You'll go deaf."
I don't know what came over me. I was having a crappy morning I guess but try explaining why you crashed a bus to the cops. Actually in it's own way I think I was dancing to my music. It all happened so swiftly and .... Now that I think about it, I wish the bus had a camera in it. It was elliquent in it's own way. I calmly stood up while the bus was still in motion, attracting a few stares from the crowd. Others didn't even look up form the newspapers or Ipods; not that I cared. The bus swayed under my feet but every stepwas careful and precise even though I wasn't even focusing. I closed my eyes and listened the voice singing in my head as I stepped around other people's feet, twirling around those standing and holding the railing above. It was only when I was coming closer and closer to the driver did more people begin to watch.
"Miss, you should really sit back down."
I crossed that yellow line that seperated the driver from the riders. The music still playing and drowning out anything the man might have yelled at me about going back to my seat of kicking me off. I grabbed the steering wheel, he lifted his foot from the gas. I smashed his foot in with my heel and jerked the wheel to the left into on coming traffic. I happened to open my eyes just as the song ended to see a Mayflower Semitruck heading straight at us. To tell you the truth I was a bit scared but I think I smiled when the truck impacted with the bus. The driver's head smashed into the dashboard. That old lady's neck had snapped on impact. The other riders collided into one another, the pole, the windows, and the gaurd rails. All either breaking something in their bodies or dying. Metal pieces and glass went everywhere. I think there was an explosion too. Butnot before the semi pushing the bus backwards into the traffic behind it and injurying a few hundred other people.
What about me?, you ask. *Laughs* Well let's think. I'm standing at the front of the bus, no seatbelt, no rail. A semi crashes into the bus which will either send my flying backwards into the crowds of screaming people or..... Yep, that's right. Flying straight out the windshield, into the semi's cabi. Now that I think about it, there was fire. Crushed engines, burning rubber tires trying to brake, sparks from sliding up against other cars, leaking gas tanks.
The ambulance arrived as well as the police. I stepped out of the mess..... Well actually, falling out of the semi's cabi, head throbbing and face bleeding from the glass cuts. The asphalt cushioned my landing. *Rolls eyes* I fix up my hair back into my hat and adjust myheadphones and music to where it played on repeat. I walked away, plucking bits of glass from my flesh and clothes. The road exploded into a big ball of flames right about when I reached Sharper Image which wasn't that far away. The heat rolled off the mass of vehicles and bodies, a heat wave brushing over the city.
"Mou hitori no jibun ga boku no koe kakeru "Koko kara subete ga hajimaru," I sing to myself as I browse the entertainment section for some anime.
