I have a truthful tale to tell
About a bonne élève named Michelle
She was ASB President
Never tardy, always present;
Now senior year can be stressful
But she sought to be successful;
Homework was hard to maintain
All the stress made her go insane;
She said "I'll do it later not now"
Something she would rarely allow
Procrastination prevents prosper
But fun is what she would prefer
Parties night after night with friends
Who started noticing certain trends
"Michelle, is everything alright?"
"Whatever, let's do something tonight."
Senior Project deadlines came and went
Michelle hadn't even made a dent
Passing was the locked door's key
Her advisor was not happy
The teacher said she wasn't so cool
She would never leave high school
Everything was placed in perspective
Herself she could never forgive
Her problems no longer seemed so small
She did not graduate at all
Instead she held minimum wage
All the way to her old age
Stress can distort the street being traveled
Don't let yourself get unraveled
My moral is truly unbiased
Don't catch a bad case of senioritis.
