4-2 Win
Game Preview: The Canadiens will try to get nearer the season serie sweep against the Bruins. Carey Price will take back the net, while Ryan O'Byrne gets Breezer's spot. Tim Thomas guards the net for Boston. There could be a possibility that both teams will meet in the play-offs. The Habs rank at the second spot, while Bruins tries to secure a play-off spot at the seventh spot.
Final: Winning 4-2 makes it 7-0 this season and 10 straight wins against Boston. Alex Kovalev, Alex Kovalev, Alex Kovalev! HE HAS GOLDEN HANDS!! He scores two goals to give him 33 goals this season. What a game!! This was exactly as I would have thought it would be. Montreal dominated most of the game, especially the third with our offensive and defensive plays. Refs did a more or less good job at the end of the third. Bruins' second goal was ********. A Boston player made goaltender obstruction and the goal stood, after that, Markov crossed check and didn't get a penalty. Anyways, this was freaking amazing! The third goal was setup prefectly by Latendresse and Koivu. As for the fourth goal, Kovy once again. And where can I stop with Carey Price?! I love his puck handling! This guy can give a pass even when under pressure! He really made some difference in tonight's game. I hope Komisarek is alright after getting injured... We'll be in serious trouble if he won't be here. Hammer did a great job replacing him but I'm afraid that it could only be temporairy.
My three Stars: 1-Alex Kovalev 2-Carey Price 3-Guillaume Latendresse Honorable Mentions: Andrei Kostitsyn.
Scoresheet: Montreal: Alex Kovalev (2 goals), Michael Ryder, Andrei Kostitsyn. Boston: Mark Stuart, Denis Wideman.
Next Game: Boston Bruins, MAR 22nd.
