3-0 Win
Game Preview: Montreal only needs ONE more point and they shall clinch the division. Habs face Sens at the Scotiabank Arena. The last game led to a Canadiens' win of 7-5. Saku Koivu suffered a foot injury, so he will not play. Sergei Kostitsyn will take his place, meaning he'll play center. Guillaume Latendresse and Mark Streit will be back in. Mike Komisarek will still be at the sidelines.
Final: Price has his THIRD shutout of the season in a 3-0 win. IN HIS ROOKIE YEAR!! Okay. I should so calm down. Anyways, Habs are assured Home Ice advantage in the series after clinching the North-East Division with 100 points, but it was a heavy price to get there. Hamrlik looks to be injured, Bouillon still absent and Komisarek can't play as well. Three very useful defenseman. Also, in the offence departement, Saku Koivu has an injured foot. Okay, so Sergei Kostitsyn played okay in his place. He was a bit agitated, but looked good anyways. This was a very good game for the entire team. We manage to kill off some dumb penalties, and scored on some good chances. I wouldn't mind at all seing both teams facing each other in the first round.
My Three Stars: 1- Carey Price 2- Alex Kovalev 3- Ryan O'Byrne Honorable Mentions: Andrei Kostitsyn, Mathieu Dandenault.
Score sheet: Montreal: Alex Kovalev, Mathieu Dandenault, Andrei Kostitsyn. Ottawa: None.
Next Game: Buffalo Sabres, APR 3rd.
