Things go by too damn fast these days, you get what I'm saying?
It's like one moment I'm at lunch, dancing around with my friends and laughing and spinning way out of control, and then the next thing I know, I'm freezing my a** off in front of the school, dripping wet in the rain because my mom just happened to forget to pick me up.
It's like we don't have time to recognize how beautiful each moment is. How little time we have left. Years may seem a long time, but you have to remember, human beings...we live for the moment. And a moment is a very short time that gradually increases to include your entire lifetime, which will eventually just...blink out of existence. Gone, just like the hundreds of thousands of millions that came before you.
Life goes on.
But you don't. You only realize a small frame of time, passing by, just like when I type these words, that's all to me. I'm not thinking of the future, when I have to turn in this damn homework. I'm just thinking of finishing this so I can finish that damn homework.
I dunno. I'm just saying, maybe if we could appreciate every second and every minute, life would go on better for us and we wouldn't be so scared to die anymore.
