crying Alas, summer vacation comes to an end. This one passed by the fastest, and it was the best by far. Now it's back to the school life, and all the pressures of finding the right collage and taking SATs, ACTs, etc...but first, one must finish summer homework, right?
Unfortunately, yes. gonk
So, given the few moments I have on here, I will proceed to make anyone who views this feel infinitely better about their summer situation by complaining about my workload that I managed to put off until the last month.
First off, there's three chapters of Biology that I must outline. Peachy. The reason I haven't been online is that I have been finishing these chapters, and now I'm down to the last 28 pages or so. So, thumbs up for me! Second is Spanish. Why in the world did I take this class? Well, I'm here in my fourth year, so I'd better just get it over with. I mean, I only have to translate three pages--no wait, make that four--of a story in Spanish, and then answer questions about it. I guess that's not too bad. This will be followed by several Calculus assignments, and lastly, there's the whopper--English. Gosh, I speak it fluently, what more do you want? Well, they want me to read four books, three of which I have read, and do an essay comparing two of them, as well as a chart about Ray Bradbury and a sales pitch about A Streetcar Named Desire. As soon as I finish this stuff, then it's back on the internet! Yay!
On the bright side, I just got all 26 episodes of Trigun for around $24. Not too bad, especially since I only have to pay half. And it's the real goods too, not any bootleg crap. So I'm happy, and I'll see if I can multi-task and watch Trigun and rp at the same time. pirate biggrin
OK, that's all for now. Off to see the Pagent of the Masters, which should be good. It's a nice follow-up to the King Tut exhibit, which I saw yesterday. Adios, peeps!
