LaCie DVD±R Drive and More Avatar Art
LaCie DVD±R Drive - So a while back, I babysat my younger brother's kids for a while and he paid me $80. Not really though... I mean, he did, in a way. Instead of giving me the cash, he had ordered me a LaCie DVD±R drive, which is something I'd been wanting. My internal drive is fine, but it's only a DVD-R/CD-RW drive, which has... issues. My internal drive is fine, but for some reason, it's very picky with DVD-Rs. Some brands it can burn/read, some it can't and then their are some it can burn, but not read.
Anyway, this new drive is amazing. It's faster then my internal one and can even burn/read DVD+Rs, which my internal one can't do.
Burn time with my internal drive takes ~30 minutes to burn a full DVD-R, after which is another ~30 minutes to verify, if I choose.
Burn time with the LaCie drive on a DVD+R is only ~3 minutes. That's just amazing and a time saver.
