As much as I enjoy the time I spend with my friends here in Gaia, we don't see a whole lot of each other and I've been getting a little lonely. So when I was wandering around the marketplace tonight and I saw a place selling kitty cats, I decided that it was exactly what I needed. So, I shelled out the money and tooK home a pretty kitty.

They told me her name is Kaya. I like the name, so I'll probably keep it. She's a very sweet little cat. Pretty shy right now, mostly clinging to my leg. But she's very well behaved.

I took her out for a walk this evening. Thought I would stop by and introduce her to a few of my friends, but no one seemed to be in. I hope there wasn't some kind of party I didn't get invited to. Anyway, Kaya enjoyed the walk around the neighborhoods. She even helped me chase a few butterflies and dragonflies. I think she even caught a grasshopper. Hope she didn't hurt it.

Later I took her over to one of the fishing holes. I expected her to be a little trouble, what with her being a cat and us being around fish and all, but like I said earlier, she's a pretty shy little thing. There were lots of people at the port so she hid in some bushes until I finished filling my bucket. Then she caught back up with me as I was leaving.

I love my clingy little furry friend. I hope that she enjoys living with me too and that eventually she will feel comfortable playing on her own, but for now, I don't mind having her around as I go from place to place.
