Sage's Song Book
It's mainly songs that leave me with something. But that won't be all... >.< there's still going to be those days where my little song book will transform into almost a Therapist....>.<
hey.......I thought of a question.....I'm not sure if anyone cares anymore, but here.
1.If no one is there when a tree falls does it really make a sound?
I know it's a crappy question....but I have no brain power. I've wasted it all....everything is just really crappy lately and I've been trying to figure things out and- crap I'm rambling again. Sorry. I'm going to shut up now before I annoy any one.....I think it's pointless because I'm pretty sure I already annoyed people, but none the less I- Never mind......

Unlike what most people think, this question isn't really based on 'sound'. It's a question about time.

You see, I'm one of the few people who thinks/knows there's no such thing as 'time'.

Hit me, kick me, yell at me... I still wouldn't change my mind.

I'll try to make this as short as possible as it's a long story to describe why there is no time (but then again, I could also just say 'tell me exactly what the definition of time is and no one can answer me).

Let's change this to something else, it was the easiest way for me to explain it to my friend after 3 hours of discussion.

We were sleeping in a dark room. My friend was convinced that time existed and I was convinced it doesn't.

After a long discussion I clapped my hands.

I said to my friend "Was there a clap?"
    He said "Yes there was."
I said "But how do you know? There's no proof nor a trace that there was a clap."
He said "What? I just heard it!"

You see, my logic is that the world is only based on space + speed. That defines the world... there's only 1 dimension, and that's 'now'.

I said "Yeah, but you know that NOW, it's stored in your memory."

And that's what hit him... he finally understood what my logic was. We know there was a clap 'now', but haven't we been there (impossible since someone has to clap, but that aside) then that clap never existed.

The question about the tree is not the sound, it's time. Has it ever fallen in the past if no one was there to register it?

PS. stormy_summers, you seem so down lately with your posts. Everything okay?
