Tuomas Holopainen of Nightwish strikes me as an interesting, complex person based on the Nightwish lyrics (he writes all of the lyrics for Nightwish) and what little I've heard of him. I read that Ghost Love Score is about loving someone who doesn't really exist, or thinking you love someone when actually you love what you think they are. I have developed the theory that Tuomas thought he was in love with Tarja in this way. I'm probably wrong, but it's interesting to think about. Amy Lee of Evanescence is much less complex. I know little of Sharon den Adel of Within Temptation, but from what little I do know, she doesn't strike me as particularly interesting. Tarja was a good singer. It's too bad she had to turn mean. I haven't heard any of the music with Annete as a singer yet, though, so maybe it will sound even better with her. Who knows?
